This dataset contains Appendices 1-11 corresponding to the article "Measuring impostor phenomenon in health sciences libraries".
Readme file contains instructions for interpreting the data.
Appendix 1 contains the survey instrument.
Appendix 2 contains a codebook that corresponds to the variable names listed in Appendices 3 & 4.
Appendix 3 contains all raw data, including qualitative and quantitative, plus several new variable categories created by the authors for analysis (these are detailed in Appendix 2).
Appendix 4 contains 6 tabs:
Tab 1 (Raw data) is the raw qualitative data.
Tab 2 (JBW_Notes) is one author (JBW)’s notes on thematic analysis.
Tab 3 (MBB_Notes) is one author (MBB)’s notes on thematic analysis.
Tab 4 (Interrater_Reliability_Check) contains the final decisions for coding based on both authors’ notes. Within this tab, the final decisions can be found:
For coping strategy codes = “Recoded coping strategy”
For don’t feel inadequate codes = “Recoded don’t feel inadequate”
For effectiveness codes = “Recoded Effective”
Tab 5 (Thematic_Analyses) details our thematic analyses codes with examples.
Tab 6 (Frequency_Counts) provides a list of words and the number of times they are seen in the qualitative data.
Appendices 5-11 contain graphical representations of results (descriptions for each included therein).
